Bringing the Internet to Hel Peninsula Campsites (Poland)

Cambium Networks and Winncom Technologies provided wireless connectivity for the campsites

Hel Peninsula is one of Europe’s most attractive and popular peninsulas, located near the Baltic Sea in Poland. Many tourists visit Hel yearly, but its popularity has vastly increased due to the pandemic.

With our partner, we prepared a deployment plan for seven campsites (Male Morze, Chalupy 3, Solar, Ekolaguna, Albatros, Chalupy 6, and Sun4Hel) as well as Jastarnia pier and Hel boulevard. For this project, the best solutions were cnPilot APs, known for offering reliable roaming between access points and supported by cnMaestro. This was critical for ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience as visitors moved about the campground.

Thanks to Cambium’s Wi-Fi equipment that is deployed on 7 campsites at Hel Peninsula, the days of disconnecting and experiencing the ruggedness of nature may just be behind us.
