2023 was a year of deepening knowledge for our African partners

The Connecting Africa Camps, hosted by Winncom Technologies and Cambium Networks, were a series of technical trainings held in six African countries. The pieces of training, aimed at enhancing the skills of 175 engineers, covered a range of topics, including Wi-Fi, switching, cnMaestro for enterprise, and Cambium One Network. These sessions were conducted in cities like Nairobi, Banjul, Douala, Yaounde, Lusaka, Kinshasa, Kolwezi, and Lagos. Each location focused on different aspects of network management and technology tailored to the specific needs and context of the region.

These trainings were particularly valuable for the fast-developing African countries. The program significantly enhanced the region’s technological infrastructure by equipping local engineers with advanced technological skills and knowledge. The skills gained by engineers are crucial for the growth and modernization of various sectors, helping these countries keep pace with global technological advancements. The initiative provided immediate benefits in terms of skill development and laid the groundwork for ongoing technological evolution in the region.
